The project activities have ended with the organization of a 2-day technical workshop, at the end of the timeframe of the project. The purpose of this workshop was to disseminate the activities, methods, results and scientific conclusions that arise throughout the duration of the project.
The workshop was held on the 16th and 17th of June 2014, at the University of Cyprus new campus (UCY) premises (Building ΧΩΔ02, room 119) and at the laboratory facilities of NIREAS-IWRC, respectively. The workshop was successful as many stakeholders have participated from various areas of expertise and fields of interest including chemists, environmental scientists, biologists, policy makers, environmental engineers and even high-school students. The first day of the workshop included presentations regarding the project activities and scientific objectives and results, while the second day included laboratory demonstrations of the methods included in PhotoGraph, as well as a visit to the UCY wastewater treatment plant, where the microfiltration pilot unit built for the purposes of PhotoGraph has been placed.
